(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – An informed source in Nineveh Province announced on Monday, that 17 ISIS members were killed south of Mosul (405 km north of Baghdad).

The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The Kurdish Peshmerga forces repelled an attack launched by ISIS gunmen in the village of Kanhish south of Mosul.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added, “The operation resulted in the killing of 17 ISIS fighters, and the destruction of three military vehicles.”
