Pilot officer arrested for killing person, throwing his body in dump in Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police announced on Monday, that a security force arrested a pilot officer for killing a civilian and throwing his body in a waste area west of Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “A force of the tenth emergency regiment was able today to arrest an officer of the rank of first lieutenant pilot during trying to throw the body of a person in a dump in the university district western Baghdad.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added: “The officer confessed of killing that person during raiding of his home at dawn today; he shot him from his weapon,” adding that, “The force took away the detainee to a security center to conduct the investigation.”
