Police forces detain 85 wanted persons in Babel Province

(IraqiNews.com) Babel – On Tuesday, Babel Police Command announced arresting 85 wanted individuals on various criminal charges during security operations in different areas of the province.
Babel Police Command said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Detachments belonging to the departments of [Babel] Police Command conducted raid and inspection operations in different areas of the province in the past 72 hours,” pointing out that, “The operations resulted in the arrest of 85 wanted individuals on various criminal charges.”
The statement added, “The detainees were referred to the competent authorities for the purpose of completion of legal procedures against them.”
