Police forces repel ISIS attack on al-Baghdadi District, west of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – On Sunday, a security source in Anbar province revealed, that the local police forces backed by tribal fighters have managed to repel a suicide attack by ISIS militants inside the residential area in the district of al-Baghdadi, located in west of Ramadi.
The source informed IraqiNews.com, “This morning, a suicide bomber driving a vehicle has blown up himself targeting the residential area in the district of al-Baghdadi, located 90 km west of Ramadi” pointing out that, “The bombing resulted in the death of one civilian in the area.”
“The ISIS elements attacked the area after the explosion; but the local police and tribal fighters have managed to repel the attack and force them to withdraw,” the source also added.
