(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – Media officials with the Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday the killing of the second deputy of the ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi by an air strike in western iAnbar.

The officials said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The military commander of al-Jazeerah and the second deputy of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the so-called Aasi Ali Nasser al-Obeidi, was killed in an aerial bombardment by the army’s air force in the area of Bruwana,” adding that, “Obeidi was one of the fugitives from Abu Gharib prison.”
