6 security elements injured eastern Mosul
Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Six security elements and civilian were injured on Monday due to an Improvised Explosive Device in eastern Mosul.
Car bomb exploded targeting army patrol in Kukajli district of eastern Mosul, killing and wounding 23 persons including 16 soldiers.
Security source told IraqiNews.com “An IED that was emplaced on a roadside in Muthana neighborhood to the east of Mosul exploded targeting army patrol, thus resulted in injuring three soldiers and a civilian.”
“On other hand, three policemen were injured when an IED blew up targeting Ant-Terrorism Dept patrol in Ba’ath neighborhood of eastern Mosul.
“Security force rushed to the explosion place, then transported the injured to a hospital for treatment,” according to the source.
