(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The head of the security committee in the Khalidiyah Council in Anbar province, Ibrahim Fahdawi, announced on Tuesday the progress of the security forces in the liberation operations of Ramadi from the north and the east, pointing to the presence of heavy shelling of the airline and the Iraqi Army Aviation on ISIS sites.”

Fahdawi said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The security forces supported by al-Hashed al-Shaabi militia are advancing in the liberation operations of Ramadi from the north and the east.”

Fahdawi added that “the security forces advanced from the northern axis and were able to reach the outskirts of Jirashi between Abu Diab area and Anbar Operations Command,” adding that “the security forces advanced from the east axis in Husaybah areas and al-Madyaq.”

Fahdawi stated that “Iraqi and the international coalition warplanes continue bombing prominent ISIS locations in Khalidiya island and Ramadi and its surroundings,” noting that “the organization suffered heavy material and human losses.”
