(IraqiNews.com) Diyala – Diyala Police Command announced on Sunday, that seven people had been arrested on criminal and terrorism charges during search operations northeast of Baqubah.
The spokesman for Diyala Police Command, Colonel Ghalib Attiya, said in a statement obtained by Iraqi News, “Yesterday, a force from [Diyala] police conducted raid and search operations in the areas of al-Muqdadiyah and Abu Saida, northeast of Baqubah, and managed to arrest seven wanted persons on different charges, including two wanted [individuals] on charges of terrorism.”
Attiya added, “The arrested people were transferred to a detention center for interrogation.”
