Security forces control doctors’ houses around Tikrit General Hospital

(IraqiNews.com) A security source in Salahuddin province announced on Monday, that the security forces gained control of the houses of doctors surrounding Tikrit General Hospital south of the city.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Security forces of the federal police and the army backed by the Volunteer Fighters (al-Hashd al-Sha’bi) militia managed today to gain control over the houses of doctors that surround Tikrit General Hospital, south of the city,” indicating that, ” This area is adjacent to the compound of the presidential palaces and Salahuddin province building.”
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added, “The security forces secured the area around Tikrit General Hospital, and are currently searching for booby-traps and explosive devices.”
