Security forces detain ISIS explosives expert in so-called Wilayat Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police said on Sunday, that the security forces had managed to arrest the ISIS explosive expert in the so-called Wilayat Baghdad during a tactical operation north of the capital Baghdad.
The source said in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Based on intelligence information, the Eighth Brigade of the Federal Police carried out, today, a tactical operation in the district of al-Taji north of Baghdad,” adding that, “The operation resulted in the arrest of the ISIS explosives official, in addition to [seizing] bombs, explosive belts, weapons and ammunition.”
