 Security forces evacuate 635 besieged families from Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The Anti-Terrorism Directorate announced on Sunday, that the Iraqi security forces had evacuated 635 civilians from Ramadi and transferred them to al-Habbaniyah Camp.

The source said in a brief statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Today, a force from the Anti-Terrorism Directorate and Anbar police had managed to evacuate 635 civilians, mostly women and children, from Ramadi City, while transferred them to al-Habbaniyah Camp in the city of al-Khalediyah,” pointing out that, “The security forces provided services and medical treatment for them.”

“ISIS besieged these families in the areas of al-Sufiyah and al-Sejariyah east of Ramadi,” the source added.
