Security forces foil ISIS attack on Khalediya District, east of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – On Friday, a security source in Anbar province said, that the Iraqi security forces foiled an ISIS attack on the district of al-Khalediyah in east of Ramadi.
The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told IraqiNews.com, “The security forces have managed to foil an attack by ISIS militants from three axes on the district of alKhalediyah, located 23 km east of Ramadi,” pointing out that, “Violent clashes have broken out between the two sides, resulting in the killing and injuring of dozens of the ISIS elements.”
“The forces also destroyed 4 vehicles for ISIS in the demarcation lines,” the source added.
