Security forces fully liberate Humayra village in Nineveh

Nineveh – (IraqiNews.com) We Are Coming, Nineveh Operations Command announced on Monday liberating al-Humayra village completely from the grip of the Islamic State extremist group.
Commander of ‘We Are Coming, Nineveh’ Major General Abdel Amir Yarallah said in a brief statement, “Troops of the army’s 9th Armored Brigade fully liberated al-Humayra village, north of al-Salamiyah village.”
“Security forces raised Iraqi flag over the buildings of the village, after inflicting heavy human and material losses on the enemy,” Yarallah added.
Earlier today, We Are Coming, Nineveh Operations announced liberating Urta Kharab village, north of Mosul and raising Iraqi flag over its buildings.
Joint security force backed by Army Aviation and international coalition continue their operations to retake the city of Mosul from the ISIS grip, after General Commander of Armed Forces, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced launching the offensive in 17 October 2016.
