Security forces kill 6 ISIS militants, including sniper, in Fallujah

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, a security source in Anbar province revealed, that 6 ISIS elements, including a sniper, were killed during violent clashes with the security forces in northern al-Fallujah, while a number of militants have been also killed in an air strike by the Iraqi Air Force (IAF) in the district of al-Karma.
The source informed IraqiNews, “Today, a force from the rapid intervention units clashed with ISIS militants in northern Fallujah,” noting that, “The clashes resulted in killing 6 militants, including an ISIS sniper, and destroying an armored vehicle for them.”
The source, who requested anonymity, added, “The army’s air force, in coordination with the special rapid intervention units, has carried out an air strike on ISIS sites in al-Harirat area in the district of al-Karma (53 km east of Ramadi),” pointing out that, “The air strike resulted in killing and wounding a number of ISIS militants, in addition to destroying their hideouts.”
