Security forces liberate Maaref University in eastern Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Saturday, Commander of the army’s 8th brigade Brigadier-General Majid al-Fatlawi announced the liberation of al-Maaref University in eastern Ramadi and raised the Iraqi flag above its building, while indicated to the advance of the security forces toward the Collage of Education.
Fatlawi said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Today, the security forces managed to liberate al-Maaref University in eastern Ramadi, while raised the Iraqi flag above its building,” pointing out that, “The security forces have fully controled the university building.”
“The security forces are advancing toward the Collage of Education in Anbar University,” he added.
