Security forces move by Abadi’s order to “eliminate terrorism”

(IraqiNews.com) A security source announced on Sunday that the security forces, by the commander in chief of the Armed Forces Haider Abadi’s order and under the supervision of the interior minister and commander of the federal police, are moving toward Samarra and Diyala to free them from terrorism.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “By the commander in chief of the Armed Forces’ order and under the supervision of the minister of interior and the commander of the federal police forces, massive security forces have moved in the early hours toward several axes in Samarra and Diyala to liberate them from terrorism.”

It is noteworthy that the security committee in the House of Salahuddin province confirmed on February 26, 2015 that the battle to liberate the province would be over soon.
