(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A source in Nineveh Liberation Operations Command announced on Thursday, that the security forces have killed 20 members of the so-called ISIS during the repulsion of ISIS attack south of Mosul (405 km north of Baghdad).

The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The commandos 15th brigade in Nineveh Liberation Operations was able to repel a violent attack launched by ISIS on Kharaib village in Makhmur District south of Mosul and killed 20 ISIS members.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added, “The security forces also managed to detonate two car bombs during the attack, without causing any casualties among the security forces.”
