Security forces reopen Baghdad-Karma Road east of Fallujah

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – On Tuesday the Federal Police Command announced, that the security forces reopened the Old Baghdad-Karma Road east of Fallujah (62 km west of Baghdad).
The commander of the Federal Police, Lt. Gen. Raed Shaker Jawdat, said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The Federal Police forces and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi [militia] managed to open and secure the Old Baghdad-Karma Road.”
Yesterday, Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi announced launching military operations to liberate the city of Fallujah (62 km west of Baghdad), while emphasized that the so-called ISIS has no choice but to flee from the battle.
