Security forces repel ISIS attack on two areas in al-Karma, 5 militants killed

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – On Monday, a security source within the Rapid Intervention Forces said, that the Iraqi security forces managed to repel an ISIS attack on eastern Ramadi, pointing out to the killing of 5 ISIS elements during clashes between the two sides.
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, informed IraqiNews.com, “This morning, a force belonging to the Rapid Intervention Forces managed to repel a violent attack by ISIS on the areas of al-Harirat and al-Sabihat in the city of al-Karma,” pointing out that, “The force was able to kill 5 ISIS elements and destroy 4 vehicles that were carrying machine-guns for them.”
“The ISIS militants were forced to withdraw,” the source added.
