Security forces transport hundreds of displaced people outside conflict zones in Samarra
Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, a source in Samarra Operations Command stated, that the security forces transported hundreds of displaced people to safer areas in the district of Samarra.
The source informed IraqiNews, “Security forces have provided transportation for hundreds of residents from Yathrib, Hurdaniya, Hawija and Bahariya areas. They were transported by military vehicles from the southern outskirts of Samarra to safer areas inside the district.”
Yesterday, an official in Salahuddin province said, that hundreds of residents of al-Hawija area have crossed the Tigris River in a mass exodus, fleeing from fierce battles in Daluiyah.
