 Security forces, tribesmen advance to liberate al-Hamidiya area eastern Ramadi

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) A tribal leader in al-Anbar province, Mozhir Mullah Khidr announced Wednesday, that the security forces and the tribal forces are now advancing from two axes to liberate al-Hamidiya area eastern Ramadi, while pointed to the presence of heavy shelling by the US-led international coalition warplanes on important ISIS sites in the region.

Khidr said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The security forces backed by the tribal forces are advancing from two axes to liberate al-Hamidiya area eastern Ramadi from the ISIS organization’s grip,” noting that, “The first axis is the Japanese Bridge and the second axis is the Nazim Tharthar.”

Khidr added, “The international coalition warplanes have violently bombed important sites belonging to the terrorist organization ISIS in the region. Great losses in lives and equipment have been inflicted upon the groups’ militants.”

President of the Council of Anbar province Sabah Krhot announced on Wednesday, that the security forces and tribal fighters have liberated al-Sajaria and Falahat east of Ramadi.
