Senior police officer injured in northern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Police officer of al-Taka Police Station, Colonel Safa al-Maajon, was attacked in northern Tikrit on Sunday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “An Improvised Explosive Device went off in central Beji targeting al-Maajon injuring him along with another officer.”

“A security force transported the injured officers to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
