NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A soldier was shot dead with silenced guns in eastern Mosul city on Sunday, a local security source said.“Unidentified gunmen attacked a checkpoint near the grand mosque in al-Hai al-Ziraie area, eastern Mosul, with silenced guns, leaving a soldier killed,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.Mosul, the capital city of the restive province of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.AmR (PT)2454
