Source: Civilian killed in militant attack by gunmen in central Kirkuk

(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A security source in Kirkuk province said on Tuesday, that a civilian had been killed in a militant attack in central Kirkuk.

The source reported for IraqiNews.com, “At noon, militants driving a modern vehicle opened fire against a civilian in the area of Baghdad Road in central Kirkuk, resulting in his immediate death,” adding that, “A security force cordoned off the area of the incident and transferred the dead to the forensic medicine department, while carried out an inspection operation to search for the perpetrators of the attack.”
