Suicide bombing kills person, wounds 2 others in eastern Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police said on Tuesday, that a person was killed and two others were injured in a suicide bombing that took place in eastern Baghdad.
The source, who requested anonymity, said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Today, suicide bomber, wearing an explosive vest and driving a modern vehicle, blew himself up near the village of al-Badala in the area of New Baghdad in eastern Baghdad, resulting in the death of one person and wounding two others.”
“A security force arrived in the area of the incident and transferred the injured to a nearby hospital and the dead body to the forensic medicine authority,” the source added.
