Suicide bombing targets checkpoint central Faluja

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) A number of security members were killed and injured due to suicide bombing targeted a checkpoint in Faluja district of eastern Ramadi, capital of Anbar province.

A security source told IraqiNews.com on Thursday “A car bomb driven by a suicide bomber exploded targeting a joint army and police checkpoint near Rasheed bank in central Faluja resulted in killing two individuals and injuring 7 others from the checkpoint’s individuals.”

“The police transported the dead bodies to the morgue and the injured to a hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
