Traffic accident causes injuries in Kirkuk

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A traffic accident resulted in injuring eleven persons in Kewan area of western Kirkuk.

The Commander of Neighborhoods and Districts Police Department in Kirkuk province Brigadier Sarhad Qader stated that ”Two vehicles crashed near Kewan area,” noting that “The traffic accident resulted in injuring eleven persons.”

About 27 traffic accidents took place in Kirkuk province during Ramadan and resulted in killing four citizens and injuring seven others.

Daquq area witnessed a traffic accident during Eid al-Fitr which resulted in killing five persons.

The Brigadier pointed out that ”The high speed of the drivers and neglecting traffic instructions might be the main factor in increasing the traffic accidents in this area.” \
