(IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, witnesses said that the Turkish artillery shelled border areas belonging to the province of Dohuk, while pointed out that the attack had caused losses in the groves of the farmers.

A citizen named Zaeem Yusuf (53 years old) told IraqiNews.com, “The Turkish artillery attacked, today, areas near the border villages of Kashan and Chellaney in the district of Zakho north of Dohuk province,” noting that “The attack lasted for several hours.”

Joseph added, “The bombing led to the destruction of large areas of the farmers’ groves.”
