Turkish military announces death of one soldier by ISIS rocket attack in northern Iraq

(IraqiNews.com) The Turkish military announced on Saturday the killing of one of its soldiers and wounding another in a rocket attack by ISIS north of Iraq.
The Turkish military said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “This evening, ISIS targeted a base belonging to the Turkish army in northern Iraq by a rocket attack, killing one soldier and wounding another,” pointing out that, “[The military] had responded by targeting the [ISIS] sites which were specified in the region,” and adding that, “The injured soldier was evacuated to a hospital in the province of Şırnak southeast Turkey.”
