(IraqiNews.com) Erbil – Eyewitness at SaidaKan area in Erbil said on Saturday, that Turkish warplanes attacked PKK militants’ sites at north of Erbil and that the attack burned large tracts of forests and orchards.

Mahdi Dawood, a Kurdish source from SaidaKan, in a brief statement said, “The Turkish warplanes launched an offensive against PKK positions at different in SaidaKan,” adding, “The attack lasted for about an hour.”

“The size of the losses caused by the attack remains unknown. Large tracts of forests and orchards were turned to ashed in the attack,” Dawood added.
