(IraqiNews.com) Basra – A security source in Basra province revealed on Wednesday, that two Turkish hostages have been liberated near a Turkish hospital under construction in the province.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “the security force found late last night two Turkish workers that were released by the kidnappers near a Turkish hospital under construction (6 km west of Basra),” noting that “the abducted men were blindfolded.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added:” The abducted men have been identified through their identity papers which were in their possession,” adding that “the two released men are Necdet Yilmaz and Ercan Ozpilavci.”
