Two civilians injured in bomb explosion northwest of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the police announced on Wednesday, that two civilians were wounded in the explosion of an explosive device northwest of Baghdad.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “an explosive device that was planted on the side of the road near pastry shop in the area of al-Horiya northwest of Baghdad exploded, this morning, resulting in the injury of two civilians.”
The source, who asked anonymity, added: “the injured were taken to hospital for treatment, while the security forces imposed a security cordon around the scene.”
