URGENT: 10 killed, 28 injured in 2 Baghdad car bombings of Al Machtal and Al Ghadeer

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, according to a police source, at least 10 people killed and 28 wounded in the bombings that hit the regions of Al Machtal and Al Ghadeer in Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com “The primary outcome of the two car bombs in the neighborhood of Al Ghadeer in eastern Baghdad amounted to 7 dead and 17 wounded,” noting that “two suicide bombers who carried out the bombings.”

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added that “the outcome of the car bombing in Al Machtal area in the south of the capital amounted to 3 dead and 11 wounded, at least.”

The source pointed out that “Ambulances rushed the injured to nearby hospitals and the bodies of the dead to the forensic medicine.”
