Urgent – 11 Soldiers killed, wounded in Beiji

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) About (11) soldiers were killed or wounded during an armed attack to the north of Tikrit.Security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”Unidentified gunmen opened fire using machineguns targeting Iraqi army soldiers traveling by a vehicle heading towards their military unit on the highway of Hajaj village within Beiji district of northern Tikrit city.””The armed attack resulted in killing four soldiers and wounding seven others,” the source added.”The security forces rushed to the explosion area transporting the dead bodies to the morgue and the wounded soldiers to Beiji general hospital for treatment, while another security force started an investigation to figure out the circumstances of the incident,” the source concluded.
