Urgent – AED explosion targets parliament employee in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) An employee in the parliament was injured when an Adhesive Explosive Device attached to his civilian vehicle exploded in central Baghdad on Thursday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The employee undergoes critical wounds when the AED went off while he was passing through al-Tayran square in Bab al-Sharqi area of central Baghdad.”

“The employee was transferred to the hospital for treatment and the explosion resulted in huge material damages to his vehicle,” the source concluded.
