URGENT Audio: ISIS besieges 3 battalions in eastern Ramadi, Anbar Council VP warns of a 2nd Saqlawiyah massacre

Ramadi (IraqiNews.com) The Vice President of the Anbar Provincial Council, Faleh al-Issawi warned of the consequences of the failure to take urgent action to lift the siege imposed by ISIS on three military battalions in the area near Albuaath in the east of Ramadi since four days ago.

Issawi said to Radio Sawa “ISIS imposed a siege and the number of the military personnel who are trapped is still unknown.”

The Vice President of the Anbar Provincial Council added “the trapped have no access to any supplies and there are no military plans to lift the ISIS siege,” expecting “the repetition of the scenario of Saqlawiyah near Fallujah.”
