Urgent – Car bomb explodes in Babel

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) Six people were killed while 15 others were injured when a car bomb exploded in northern Babel province.

Security source stated to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com on Thursday “The explosion of the car bomb, which took place near a Shiite mosque in Haswa area of northern Babel province, resulted in killing six people and injuring 15 others.”

The source added “The ambulances rushed to the explosion place and transported the injured people to the nearest hospital for treatment while the dead bodies were transported to the morgue.”

”The security forces imposed security measures over the explosion site and closed all the roads which lead to it in anticipation of any further explosions,” the source concluded. \
