Urgent – Car bomb explodes in Mosul

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A car bomb driven by a suicide bomber exploded in northwestern Mosul on Monday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The suicide bomber detonated his car bomb targeting an Iraqi Army checkpoint in Rabiya district,” noting that “The explosion resulted in injuring five soldiers.”

“The IA forces cordoned the explosion area in anticipation of similar attacks and transferred the injured soldiers to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
