Urgent – .Car bomb explodes targeting Arbaeen Pilgrims in Babel

Babel (IraqiNews.com) A number of pilgrims heading to Karbala were killed and injured due to car bomb explosion in Mahaweel district associated to Babel province.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Car bomb went off targeting a procession belongs to pilgrims who are heading to Karbala to commemorate anniversary of Imam Hussein’s martyrdom, in Mahaweel district of northern Babel, resulted in killing and wounding some of them.”

The source did not identify the number of the victims or any other details.
