Urgent – .Death toll of Tuz Khurmatu bombing climbs towards 100 deaths, injuries including 2 officials

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) The death toll of the suicide bombing that targeted Tuz Khurmatu district, today hit about 100 deaths and injuries including the Turkmen Front’s Deputy Head, Ali Hashim and Salah il-Din Governor Assistant, Ahmed Qawja.

A suicide bomber detonated his explosive vest at a protest square in the district on Baghdad-Kirkuk route, while a mortar shell also fell on the district, thus led to 29 deaths and injuries.

Security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The number of the casualties of the bombing that occurred in Tuz district rose to 100 deaths and injuries.”

Two car bombs were detonated on last Monday in Tuz district resulted in killing and wounding 50 persons.
