Urgent …General Secretary of Salah-il-Din PC survives assassination attempt

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) The General Secretary of the Provincial Council of Salah-il-Din, Niazi Mimar Oglu, province survived of an assassination attempt.

He reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Wednesday ”Unidentified gunmen were traveling by motorcycle throw hand grenades towards my house in northwestern Tikrit city of central Salah-il-Din province ,” noting that “The hand grenades exploded without resulting in any human casualties but material damages to the house.”

He accused political blocs of being behind the attack which targeted the Turkmen community in the district. \
