Urgent – – IED goes off in western Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) An Improvised Explosive Device exploded in western Baghdad on last Friday night.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The explosion that targeted an Iraqi Army patrol in Akarkof area resulted in killing a soldier and injuring three others,” noting that “IT caused material damages to a patrol vehicle.”

“A security force transported the injured to the hospital for treatment and the dead to the morgue,” the source concluded.
