Urgent – .IEDs explode in southwestern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Eight civilians were injured when two Improvised Explosive Devices went off southwestern Baghdad on Thursday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The IEDs that were emplaced at the roadside in Shurta al-Rabia area exploded successively,” noting that “The explosions resulted in material damages at a number of nearby buildings and shops.”

“The police forces transferred the injured persons to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
