URGENT: UK warns citizens to leave Erbil after Exxon Mobile evacuates its workers from Kurdistan Region

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The British government, on Friday, warned UK nationals to evacuate the province of Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan Region, due to security concerns. A diplomatic source said to IraqiNews.com that “Today the British government asked its nationals residing in the province of Erbil to leave the province in as soon as possible.” The source, who asked not to be named, said: “This request came after receiving a security warning and after the company “Exxon Mobil” evacuated workers from Kurdistan region of Iraq.”
