US army conducts 13 airstrikes against ISIS in Iraq

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The US army announced on Thursday, that the US-led coalition conducted 13 air strikes on ISIS headquarters in Iraq, in addition to one air strike in Syria.
The US army said in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Yesterday, 13 air strikes were conducted in Iraq, including three air strikes near Ramadi, destructing a tactical unit as well as a trench belonging to ISIS.”
The statement added, “Three air strikes were carried out near Mosul and destructed a tactical unit, check point, seven combat sites and a vehicle belonging to ISIS.”
“Another air strike conducted in Syria and destructed the infrastructure of ISIS near Manbij,” the statement continued.
