(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – An official in the U.S. Department of Defense revealed on Tuesday, that a plane belonging to the U.S. Army carrying four crew members crashed in Iraq on Saturday, but no injuries were reported.

Earlier on Tuesday the U.S. Navy Admiral John Richardson told reporters, “A helicopter belonging to the U.S. Navy rescued four crew members on Saturday, after the forced landing of their U.S. Army reconnaissance aircraft,” pointing out that, “The rescue operation was launched from Erbil in northern Iraq.”

Richardson added, “The crew members had been lifted and rescued from the area within four minutes,” indicating that, “The timing was very good.”
