US-led coalition announces launching ‘Desert Lynx’ operation in Anbar

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Thursday the international coalition in Iraq revealed launching operation ‘Desert Lynx’ in Euphrates river valley in Anbar, while pointed out to the progress of the Iraqi army in the liberation operations.
The international coalition spokesman Steve Warren said in a brief statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The army’s 73rd brigade and the 7th commandos regiment in Doulab area started wide-scale operations against ISIS in Hadithah and Zankoura in Anbar Province,” pointing out that, “These operations are known as ‘Desert Lynx’.”
Warren added, “The Iraqi army is advancing and liberating the territories in these areas.”
