Security forces liberate village north of Mosul, 18 ISIS fighters killed

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – On Sunday, a source in the Peshmerga forces announced, that the security forces liberated a village north of Mosul from the ISIS control, while emphasized the killing of 18 ISIS during the operations.
The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The Peshmerga forces managed to liberate the village of al-Muftiya in al-Hamdaniya District north of Mosul from the ISIS control.”
The source, who asked anonymity, added, “The operation resulted in the killing of 18 ISIS fighters.”
