 Volunteer forces kill 6 suicide bombers northeast of Biji

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that the Iraqi Volunteer Forces, better known as al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia have killed 6 suicide elements in northeast of Biji district.

The source stated for IraqiNews.com, “Today, al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia fighters backed by armed tribesmen have managed to kill 6 suicide bombers wearing explosive belts in the area of al-Fatha (northeast of Biji)” pointing out that, “Those suicide elements were planning to target sites and headquarters for al-Hashed al-Sha’bi fighters in the area.”

Earlier today, Salahuddin Operations Command denied ISIS militants entering Biji’s oil refinery (north of Biji), asserting that clashes between the security forces and the group’s militants are ongoing around the refinery in north of the district.
