27 killed, injured in Wasit car bombing

Wasit (IraqiNews.com) 27 persons were killed and injured including policemen and two officers in the car bombing that targeted a security checkpoint in northern Wasit on Monday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The initial count resulted in killing 7 policemen including 2 officers in addition to 7 other civilians.”

“13 persons also were injured in the bombing along with huge material damages to the gathered vehicles.” the source concluded.
